Duke finishes ninth.

Stanford (of course) wins it, followed by Florida.

Other ACC schools in the Top 15 -- Notre Dame (3), Virginia (4), Florida State (12), and the University of No-show Classes (14).

The full results can be found here. (http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/nacda/sports/directorscup/auto_pdf/2013-14/misc_non_event/june26stand.pdf)

Where? I can't find anything but a mention of the top 5. No final standings chart.

Behind two ACC schools? Well, there's always next year.

Considering how little Duke got from basketball, that is a sensational performance. The two championships were big, and let's not forget about field hockey's surprising run to the championship game. And points for football!

Yes, from a Director's cup standpoint, it's a shame that this is the year both basketball teams made early exits. A "typical" performance (say, round of 16 for the men, regional final for the women) would likely have moved Duke up a few spots.

But a top ten finish is nothing to sneeze at--some tremendous Duke athletes have performed very well to earn this spot.
