Criticism and dissent are welcome on DBR, and are part of any healthy community. Regardless of the conversation, we are asking y'all - all y'all - to maintain a constructive attitude and show respect to the members of the team, the coaching staff, the administration, and our community.

Since we've changed over to the new BBS software, we've had a few members who seem to have pet topics they flog at any opportunity. While the topics themselves have been discussed many times by the community and are acceptable to DBR, all too often these few members present their topics in a manner which is both forcefully negative and repetitious. We occasionally remove these posts, though, in fact, very few posts do get removed. The Moderators try to be very hands-off; our goal is for DBR to be a self-policing, civilized community. Please help us keep the standards high.

As part of the overhaul of the infractions policy, we've increased the length of time before points expire and introduced the "Repetitive Rant" infraction. If you haven't read them yet, the new guidelines can be found in Julio's post here (http://www.dukebasketballreport.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3350).
