This topic probably has been discussed before and if so I apologize for bringing it up . If you want to move it or disregard it that is fine.

I was awaiting the start of The Hockey game last night and stopped to watch for a few moments the woman's softball game between Kentucky and Louisiana-Lafayette and wondered why Duke does not field a woman's softball team. I know other schools in the ACC do so why not Duke?

When Duke puts its mind to a sport they always seem to be competitive in it .

Thanks for any input .

Duke has had a successful club softball program for quite some time and is adding softball as a varsity sport for the 2018 season.
