Does he know that Amaker doesn't coach there anymore?

Truly, the number of NBA player relatives on UM has to be the highest in the nation by far.

Haha I was thinking the exact same thing. But with all due respect to an all-time Duke great, they should probably be referred to as "Candace Parker's children."

Michigan always find great undervalued recruits

Congrats to young Dawk. I would have loved to have seen him come to Duke. Looks like a solid 4 year player which we could use more of these days. Hopefully he develops into a solid College player. Johnny D is one of my personal all time favorite Blue Devils. I wish young Aubrey lots of success at Michigan. He just has to promise to never beat Duke. :)

Congrats to the Dawkins family.

Sorry... I don't really keep up with recruiting. Was JD's son recruited by Duke?

No. He is a 2-star recruit well outside the top-100. The Michigan offer stands out as it doesn't appear that any other BCS schools were interested.

I mean, I guess there is always the chance that he pulls a Steph/Seth Curry, but in general I think we are better served looking at higher-profile guys (regardless of lineage).

Yeah, here's some additional info from his rivals.com profile for Aubrey Dawkins (https://rivals.yahoo.com/bwi/basketball/recruiting/player-Aubrey-Dawkins-122147;_ylt=AqNsFDjNdm1xJmc.JAhJ7k6.rJB4)

Interesting to see that he also got a late offer from Archie Miller at Dayton.

John Beilein at Michigan seems good at developing players who fit his system. Good luck to young Mr. Dawkins.
