It's not posted on goduke.com yet but according to the live results on the NCAA website, Beach has repeated as NCAA heptathlon champion (he won in 2012 but did not compete last year), taking the lead with a strong performance (as usual) in the final event, the 1000 meters, which he won by almost 15 seconds in 2:28.76. His total was 6190 points, with the second place finisher totaling 6044. Beach also won the long jump with a jump of 25' 2".

Some other All-American Duke performances as well--Juliet Botorff finished fifth in the 5000 and Tanner Anderson was 8th in the high jump.

Congrats to Curtis; hope he can stay healthy and have his best outdoor season. In addition to the events MCFinARL mentioned, Curtis also had one of his best high jumps at 6'9" and pole vaults at 16'6.75". Best of all, the performance came in his home town of Albuquerque, NM with numerous friends and family members in attendance.
