See the article below. It's a travesty—Tyler is THE consummate glue guy, as we've discussed on this board ad nauseum. I know these silly lists shouldn't get me angry, but, really, this should be the place where Tyler gets some long overdue recognition.

Thornton is awesome, has played his role perfectly this year, might be my favorite guy on the team, and I don't think I've ever been in the crowd that thinks he deserves less minutes, but: most Division 1 teams have a glue guy equivalent. No way to include everyone deserving on a list like this.

I think he was captain of Davis's team either last year or the year before. Not sure if that makes his exclusion this time around more or less justifiable.

Amile made honorable mention. But agree that Thornton should have been on the team.

First, a clickable link (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/college-basketball/news/20140310/patric-young-akil-mitchell-tj-mcconnell-all-glue-team/?eref=sihp).

I can only tell you that it wasn't the SI Glue Guy Team. Duke hasn't been represented since Sean Dockery in 2006. Before that were Dahntay Jones (2002) and Nate James (2001 and 2000).

I looked up last year's list (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/college-basketball/news/20130314/hoop-thoughts/index.html#all) and Tyler Thornton received an honorable mention. This year Amile Jefferson gets an honorable mention (and I would agree with that).
