I currently have a Comcast/Xfinity Triple Play package and was contacted by Comcast with an offer to lower my bills if I switch to their new X1 Platform with an "Any Room" DVR. I've heard that the X1 Platform is buggy and have been avoiding it, but now it bears consideration given the cost savings. Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences with the X1 Platform? Please share them.
(BTW, I already know many of you can't stand Comcast/Xfinity and are going to tell me to switch to Verizon Fios, Direct TV, Dish, etc. Please let's please not hijack this thread into that discussion. I just don't feel like going through the hassle -- and it is a hassle -- of moving away from Comcast right now).
