I obviously didn't get to see him play, but watching highlights of him is the genuine definition of a man among boys. It seemed like he dominated every single game he played. Soccer has lost one of its legends.

Agreed; this is a big deal. Although he probably doesn't quite make the top XI all-time he's almost assuredly on the bench. The fact that he's so intimately connected with Bela Guttmann's curse of Benfica only builds on his legend, IMO.

Didn't he make FIFA's all-time XI that he put out a few years ago? Doesn't really matter as no matter where you put him, it doesn't diminish his legacy.
