Andre ran away with this award today. What a game, Dre. He's turning into one of the most important players on this year's team. His shooting has just been so timely, and it really opened up what was once a very close game with another, albeit seasoned and tough, mid-major.

You're right. It may keep him on the bench as we get deeper into the season. That's what we had Tyler "Tuning Fork" Thornton out there for. He was supposed to keep us on pitch. I guess we need to go with Rasheed, if he remains pitchy. It's a shame because Dre can really play basketball.

One of the better games of Andre's career. Watching him off the ball, the kid is trying very hard to be a good defender. I love that effort, even if he gets burned once or twice here or there, I can live with it because, one, he is giving maximum effort, and two, he now has a very good understanding of Duke's defensive scheme's. When he gets beat it is either due to lack of lateral quickness, or getting caught losing sight of his man. So much better than his first 3 years. Easily my favorite player on the team, and that jumper is just a thing of beauty, plus he is starting to mix in shot fakes, and the occasional drive. Love it.

He certainly got my vote today. Honorable mention to Jabari, Amile, and Rasheed.

Easy for me although I understand the votes for Dre. But to me Rasheed was the only guy attacking the zone consistently and if we wanna beat Syracuse that's exactly what we will need. Penetrating the zone was the most important thing for me this game and Sheed delivered.
