Haven't seen this posted here yet.

Kianna Hollland has left the women's team, and is to transfer. I haven't seen an official confirmation (been reading other sites), but she has been removed from the roster listed at GoDuke.com

Not sure what happened. She hadn't played yet, sitting out with a leg injury, and talk was she was going to redshirt unless somebody got hurt. She was going to see minutes next year.
She's a point guard, would have been Alexis's backup next year, probably playing with her at times.

If true, that's a shame. I was looking forward to seeing her play.

OSU fans might remember Holland. She gave former coach Jim Foster a verbal commitment to play for the Buckeyes in March of 2010 during the Big Ten tournament.

Foster made the offer while she was recovering from an ACL injury that occurred in the spring of '10. It was a big coup at the time for OSU to get a player out of ACC or SEC country. Holland took back the pledge in August and later signed with Duke.

Hate to see anyone leave, but at least she is joining familiar faces. Joy Cheek is with Ohio State now, and presumably would have been involved in her recruiting at Duke.

Whether the poster intended it or not, Coach McCallie posted some interesting comments on Twitter recently that many believe are a reference to Coach Cheek:
