The live action flick here is gorgeous (in comparison to other streaming sites):

Note, I don't play Halo (well) but I enjoy watching others play it. The last time I was involved in a team Halo match, it turned out to be much better for my team if I just ran and hid, so the opposing team wouldn't score oodles of points by continuously killing me. :p

Doesn't appear that there are too many Halo junkies around here....

I'm generally not a fan of the FPS. And I'm in mourning because my beloved GTA was postponed till next year.

Which is your favorite so far - I really liked San Andreas. Ironically, I live in the bay area now. I heard good things about Vice City Stories, but I haven't played it yet.

San Andreas, definitely, if only for the immersive scope. One of my co-workers was in the bay area recently and navigated back to his hotel based purely on his recollection of where fake SF landmarks are located. GTA is training for life.

VCS is the only one I haven't played. I bought a PSP just for LCS. Maybe I should pick up VCS.

I like Halo only in that it allowed Red vs. Blue (http://rvb.roosterteeth.com/archive/) to be created.

Did you see that some woman thinks she's found a chupacabra (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jgIXOzgj5X8SCBnCesj3lr62Yczw)?

Was this destined for the alien abduction thread, or is there some chupacabra / RvB connection I'm not aware of?

In the first season, Sarge thinks Simmons (I think it was Simmons) is making up animal names when they're trying to name the Warthog ("I don't think it looks like a Warthog--it looks more like a Puma.").

Sarge starts to make fun of Simmons and calls out a bunch of "made up" animals..."Should we call it the Unicorn? Or how about that mexican lizard that eats goats? What's it called again?" "Chupacabra, sir!" says Grif.

Ok, I stand informed. It baffles the mind that we could have two chupacabra related threads in the same week, and yet here we are.

I will personally refrain from posting for 6 --count em-- 6 hours if we can llogically and not artifically link a third thread to the Chupacabra.

My blockmates and I played 8-player Halo 2 on a pair of linked xboxes with projectors as a psuedo-bachelor party the night before my wedding reception.

A few of us have delved into Rainbow 6: Vegas as we wait for Halo 3 to come out, though, sadly, none of us has the time to be junkie anymore. We try to play together for a few hours at least one Sunday a month.

If anyone is interested in joining an occassional terrorist hunt with us, the fourth spot is usually open... :)

It's cool and disturbing how much I know indirectly about LA and Miami because of San Andreas and Vice City.

I found LCS/VCS to be a little flat compared to the originals-- although I DID think that VCS was the better of the two.

I expect to be fully capable of driving a cab in Manhattan by mid-next year. I was hoping my training would happen this year, but hopefully that means the game will be polished.
