They were specifically "coached" to be like the Crazies, by Coach Izzo. He created the Izzone, hoping to create the atmosphere and advantage found in Cameron.

They not only fell for it twice, but with 25 seconds on the clock, the WALKED the ball up the court while down by 6 points. It wasn't even a fast walk. It was downright leisurely. They absolutely imploded in the last 1:30 seconds.

We did it against FSU in '96, in a close and actually meaningful game.

~tieguy (admittedly, this is the first time I've ever actually felt embarrassed for Columbia sports, which previously I'd never given a damn about except when we played them during my first year of law school at Columbia)
