Cut still not in top 15. Don't get Dabo leading since Clempsun doesn't have computer access.

The voting has been going on for a while. Time to help Coach catch up and pass some of the bozos on the leaderboard.

Tried to vote for Cut. Alas, I've intentionally avoided joining Facebook. Really, with all that's already been learned about Facebook (and about both other corporate and government snooping), I have ZERO trust in Facebook.

It appears that requiring a Facebook sign in has been added this year... an unfortunate change which can limit access to voting.

I second this and faced the same barrier to voting.

For those willing to vote using Facebook, please continue to barrage the contest with your votes (different browsers?). Coach Cutcliffe has moved up from being unranked to #24. He has to get on the leaderboard, top 15, to be considered.

Vote at least once a day!

Been throwing in some protest votes for Doug Williams while I am at it.

He is #19 now. I voted twice today, once at work and now again at home. Please keep voting, folks! Coach Cutcliffe deserves to be in the running and it is our responsibility to get him there.

Yes, indeed! The fans' votes get the candidates on the list for consideration for this award. The Duke football team, players and coaches have earned five national awards this week alone. Coach Cutcliffe has earned consideration for the National Coach of the Year and we can place him on that leaderboard.

Still at #18 after I voted. I used my 14 year old daughters FB. Really wish facebook wasn't used to facilitate the voting process. She rolls her eyes when I make her let me use the account. She was able to stomach it for Duke:p. Go Coach Cutcliffe & Go Duke!!!

I agree regarding the requirement to vote and like on Facebook.

Great work, everybody! Coach is approaching the leaderboard! We'll have to keep voting to get him there and keep him there!;)

Coach Cutcliffe seems stuck at 18 so we all need to step up our efforts. I just voted, while drinking my morning cup of coffee, at the kitchen table, and I'll vote again at work.

How are you voting twice? I tried myself, and it seems linked to the Facebook account. So if I vote at home and then at work, it still blocks the second vote because my Facebook account technically voted earlier in the day. Please let me know if I'm missing something because I'll gladly vote as often as I can.

You are correct. My attempt to vote a second time at work was not successful. I've voted again this morning and Coach Cutcliffe is still stuck at number 18.

I think Steve Addazio at BC should be on the ACC COY short list. BC was beyond horrible last year and nobody, and I mean nobody, had them slotted as a likely bowl team this season.

Shame, because Cut deserves the accolades.

And in normal Duke-dissing fashion, John Feinstein disrespects Duke and Cut once again, arguing for Auburn's Head Coach as the "obvious" Coach of the Year candidate.

If Malzahn doesn’t win every coach-of-the-year award ever invented, there should be a federal investigation.

Feinstein's pretty terrible, but this is a reach. Malzahn *does* deserve the Coach of the Year awards - his team is better.

Say what? So why not give it to Jimbo?

Cut certainly isn't an automatic winner, but Duke fans most of all know the obstacles he's faced and still faces. What's so tough about coaching a team with a hundred different advantages over Cut's Blue Devils? Heck, Auburn is only three years away from a national championship. WWCHD if he had been at Auburn instead of Duke? What would Malzahn have done at Duke?

Why *not* Jimbo? He recruited and coached the best team to an undefeated season.

All this talk of obstacles and advantages leads to the kind of thinking that gets Coach of the Year awards for the likes of Seth Greenberg.

No talk of obstacles and advantages would certainly reduce the number of candidates down to one or two each year. And, to expand this no-fuss reasoning, the National Champ coach could pick the Heisman Trophy winner from his own team, just because somebody on the team should obviously get it:):p. And the All-America team...

I kid. Jimbo IS another fine candidate, by the way.
