Just a quick heads up to those of you in the Mid Atlantic Area.

Coach K will be receiving the Nell and John Wooden Leadership in Coaching Award on Tuesday night in DC. Special guests include Grant Hill, Tommy Amaker and I believe Danny Ferry on the Duke side, along with some other ex-players such as Kevin Grevey, who lives in the area.

I believe tickets are still available and proceeds go the Ronald McDonald House charity.

Sounds like a special evening. When I think of the greatest coaches, and the greatest leaders, during our lifetimes, its John Wooden and Coach K - this is a most fitting recognition. It's also a great way to begin psyched for the new season.

I hope to see some of you there. Let me know if you are going - it would be great to connect.
