At the FedEx Cup playoff taking place at TPC Boston, Kevin finished at 66 (-5) and is in a 17-way (!) tie for seventh, three shots behind leader Phil Mickelson (and two shots ahead of Tiger). Last week's winner, Adam Scott, trails at +2.

Streels has been remarkably consistent the last three tournaments.

Yes he has been consistently good for several years. Even his individual rounds are consistent, very few bogies or doubles. This in contrast with Ogilvie who is in the top 10 in eagles per holes played, but suffers through double bogies or worse. Thanks for the periodic updates.

Even par 71 does not cut it at TPC Boston. Kevin matched par, but tumbled to T35. Phil Mickelson, the first round leader at -8, did the same and fell five shots behind.

Streels comfortably made the cut and projects to remain in the top 15 of the FedEx Cup competition. The top 30 advance to the TPC Championship in Atlanta in three weeks.

Go, Kevin!

Kevin finished T-41 in the Deutsche Bank Championship. His last two rounds were 70-69, both under par. He is ranked 16th in the FedEx Cup going into the next tournament, the BMW Championship at Lake Forest IL. That tournament begins in ten days -- Sept. 12. Following that, the top 30 go on to the Tournament Players Championship in Atlanta.
