Here's a cool video from Monumental Network, the media arm of the Ted Leonsis DC arena sports empire, about Mason, including about 5 minutes of interview for the second half of the video. They talk about the draft process, Coach K, and pickup games at the Plumlee house.

The Wizards? They have the #3 pick in the draft, and then not another selection until the second round. So I guess they must be planning on moving down or moving up, and in a big way, to be interested in Mason, who seems likely to go pretty much right in the middle of where their picks currently sit.

But just imagine, for a second, the fantastic outrage from the mostly-Maryland fan base of the Bullets when they take Mason with the third pick. It's a great picture, right?

Or they are just doing their due diligence. It certainly doesn't hurt them to take a look at all players, even guys that they probably won't draft.

Wizards don't come across to me as a due diligence type team, but maybe they are working on it.
