OMG the fact that your PARENTS have a 1991 championship hat in their attic makes me want to dodder straight to the old folks' home. Sigh*****
Unless it's there because they are storing YOUR stuff, in which case I don't feel so bad.

Ha. No, it's mine. I also need to get them to dig out my 1987 Duke Final Four shirt signed by Coach K. :)

Here's a hat I am very proud to own:

The year was 1996 with the Olympics in full swing. Sitting in a fast food place on Peach Tree Street in Atlanta virtually right next to us, Mrs. Jarhead and some of my family, was the Hill Family, Grant, his parents and some other folks. We chatted a bit, and as they were leaving, I asked Grant to sign my hat. When we returned home the hat was put in a safe place, and hasn't been worn since.
Well, since we're sharing memorabilia, here are a few things I'm proud of.
I used to love reading The National Sports Daily which, for those who don't remember it, was made irrelevant by the internet.

I had 3 cans of 1991 championship soda on a top shelf in our closet. One of the cans exploded about two years ago. Wife was not happy.
I now have 2 cans of 1991 championship soda in our garage.

Not to correct your fading memory but :p .....
The National shut down way before the internet was having any impact in popular culture to speak of. I remember how sad we were at the end of senior year when we could not go to the WaWa and buy it. Great writers.

Mine sits in the kitchen book shelf, along with my Red Wings Hockeytown bottle of spring water.

I also have the cans of soda, and had one to explode. The others are now in plastic zip log bags. Also have the Bottles of soda, and of course my Championship Caps.
I am sure your wife was not happy with the exploding Soda in your Closet!!!! A sticky icky mess!
