In the field of petty corruption, this is a rare triple -- use of a state worker for a private matter; illegal hunting of deer; misuse of a state vehicle.

Farmer has been sentenced (http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/10293232/former-kentucky-wildcats-star-richie-farmer-sentenced-two-plus-years-prison) to 27 months in federal prison and ordered to pay more than $120,000 in restitution.

He was sentenced to 27 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $120,500 in restitution.

Farmer was a shooting guard on the 1991-92 Kentucky team known as "The Unforgettables" for its gutsy play and for reviving the Wildcats after a couple of years on probation.

Prosecutors have said Farmer felt a sense of entitlement because of his fame.

He could have come to my kingdom and shot all the deer he wished to. I'm not field dressing anything but that's some kind of a sentence.
Good grief.

That was just a part of what he was sentenced for, he also hired friends and had them doing little to no work and had state employees do errands like building a basketball court at his house.
