You'll have to fill out all sorts of charts and graphs and things to get your snazzy nickname, but the results were more accurate than you may expect.

A time-wasting fame game
This site is a little silly, but who really cares?
The object is simple: Just click on the person you think is more famous, and each day the site displays the high scores

My record so far is like 8. I didn't say I was any good at this!!

Killing time at the office:
http://www.adultswim.com/games/fiveMinutes/index.html
Those bizarre folks at Adult Swim have come up with a new game that sounds more disturbing than it is: "5 Minutes to Kill (Yourself)" is designed for cube-dwellers who spend their days trying to dodge annoying meeting requests.

The object of the game is to off the main character with office supplies before his boring meeting starts in five minutes. I failed on my first try -- it appears a paper shredder isn't as dangerous as one would've thought.

I riopped off 18 the first time I tried. I got 21 right afterwards. I am not sure how they judge who is famous and who is not, but there were not many where it was all that hard.

I got up to 26 in row. The key is, IMHO, who is more in the news whether it be about a project they're working on or just in the news. Jessica Biel came up twice in the same round. I'm sure some of you guys would have no problem with that.

If there is any spare time in my days (and nights) I read, read, read. (and swim and garden and play poker and bridge with friends, etc.). But mostly I read. So MANY books, so little time. Thank God I'm a fast reader. There is nothing that draws me in more than an absorbing read. Long live authors.

I joined the other day after you first posted, but I haven't been very active on it.

I meant to post this a while ago...

Goo Game (http://www.goo.tc/goo_current_goos.php)

Several current and former DBR folks take part in this and one of them turned me on to it recently. It is a smallish community.

It is a game where clues are posted to help you guess who the "famous person" is in an image. The image is distorted in some way sometimes making it very hard to tell who it is.

Check out some of the older Goos to see how it works. It is pretty cool and is sometimes a real brain exercise.
