He made the 60s and 70s absolutely fun. Flying with the Maude Frickert Airline and Storm Door Company was a real experience.

Thanks for the laughs, Jonathan.

He and Robin Williams were truly kindred spirits, clinical psychiatric cases whose mania allowed them to reach heights (depths?) in improvisational comedy that inspired awe as well as laughter. The episodes of Mork & Mindy with the two playing off each other are worth watching - it was like launching a superball into a room with the walls quickly moving toward each other.

Jonathan battled his deamons, but he was a wonderfully funny individual. He will be missed.

I was sad to hear of his passing.

He was one of my all-time favorite comedians. He was laugh-out loud funny before there was such a thing as "LOL."

Jim: I loved Jonathan Winters and Maude Frickert, but Bob Newhart had the Grace L. Ferguson Airline (And Storm Door Co.). See here (http://www.last.fm/music/Bob+Newhart/_/The+Grace+L.+Ferguson+Airline+(and+Storm+Door+Co.) ).

Grrr...You are right. Synapses ain't workin' as well as they should. :o

Here, Maude says she will be right back (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q08L6POKJsE&feature=youtu.be). Unfortunately...for all of us...she won't be.

And, to make up for my confusion, here's a Jonathan montage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=For2X31-x-M). There's also a Part II, but this should be enough.
