I love Klosterman so this article is music to my ears although I am sure many will disagree with his logic.

Klosterman - If you’re against Duke, you’re against college basketball. This has been proven by science.:D

Thanks for the link

i'm not sure i've seen such a gross underestimation that the best 5 dukies would lose by 30 to the best 5 tar holes....UNC would probably win because of jordan, but jeez, Hill, laettner, kyrie....I think they'd have a decent shot....and people often forget that j-will may have been the best player to ever come out of duke, had he not gotten hurt.

repeatingly referring to duke as unathletic....it's awful....

I like points 1-4 but then it quickly goes down hill as he attacks the 'subpar athleticism' of Duke players.

Considering how much Duke is hated in the media and beyond, a renowned author damning us with faint praise is high praise indeed!

The man wrote: "Over the past 25 years, Duke has had exactly one bad team. This is amazing when you consider the limitations of their talent. "

I don't care how much of a die-hard Duke fan one is, you can't look at that sentence and not recognize a gaping hole in the argument. Maybe ole Chuck needs to stick to writing about pop culture and music.

There are reasons to root for Duke for sure but overachieving despite a lack of talent not only isn't one of them, it is galactically misinformed and borderline stupid.
