I'd say 50/50 that they start it with a new head coach. Boeheim isn't happy with the move to the ACC, this could be the last straw.

His retirement possibility makes me happy because it puts the nearest chaser of K's record firmly in the "not catching up" book. Who is nearest to him after this? I do think he'll go one more year in the ACC, just to try on the shoes, so to speak.

I agree, he will give it a year. I knew he was not happy coming to the ACC as well. Besides the academic problems, their track record for graduating athletes is not on par with the ACC . This will be a concern one day!
