I found this article by Neal Gabler, whomever he is, informative and engaging. Some of you might also.

It provides Larry's explanation for why he left or was fired from every job he held, provides various theories proferred by others, provides the story behind the SMU job, and provides insights into a perfectionist, whom Doug Moe has been said to have quipped, "is not happy unless he is miserable."

But it was a well-written article about a man who just enjoys the game. Brown reminds me of the coach in that movie Blue Chips (played by Nick Nolte), who simply just loves the game.

I don't like the guy, but that's not needed to respect a person.
