Watching Heat/Clippers game and began wondering how many current NBA players, like Chalmers and Battier, have both an NCAA title and an NBA title? Anyone know the list? Can't be too many -- seems like rarified company. Nice that a Duke guy is on the list.

There's more of them than I thought. In fact according to this: http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-basketball/story/2012-06-21/NBA-finals-2012-Miami-Heat-OKC-Thunder-Mario-Chalmers-kansas-Shane-Battier-duke 44 of the 62 NBA championship teams have at least one NCAA champion on their team.
The harder question is how many have the trifecta: NCAA ring, NBA championship and Olympic gold medal?

Thanks, that's interesting. I'm curious how many currently active NBA players also have an NCAA title. Can't imagine that it's more than 10, maybe? Anyone have the list?

Udonis Haslem? Florida lost to Michigan State in the 2000 title game.

It's way more than 10. Off the top of my head:

Davis
Kidd-Gilchrist
T. Jones
Teague
Lamb
Walker
Thomas
Singler
Smith
Plumlee
Zeller
Hansbrough
Ed Davis
Lawson
Chalmers
Horford
Noah
Brewer
Okafor
Felton
Marvin Williams
Carmelo Anthony
Blake
Battier
Boozer
Dunleavy
Duhon
Richardson
Grant Hill

Some of these may not be active right now, but I am sure that I am missing many others.

Sorry, I think I'm being unclear!

How many currently active NBA players have both an NBA title and an NCAA title? (Not how many players all time, although interesting too, and not how many active NBA players have NCAA rings.)

I realized Chalmers and Battier while watching the Heat game and was just curious who else?

OK, here's a oner. Tim Stoddard, only man with an NCAA basketball championship and a World Series Championship: NC State (1974); Baltimore (1983).

But wait! There's more! Gene Conley won a World Series ring as a pitcher for the Milwaukee Braves (1957) and three NBA Championships with the Celtics (1959-1961). No one else has won both.
