Party Mocius. That actually accurately depicts what he was like when on the court. If he was anything like Pistol Pete, it was his ability to dance around the floor and have a good time. He was a leaper and he was going to show you whether he had a realistic chance of dunking or not.

Marty's dunk against N.C. State in the '07 ACC Tourney, when he stopped by the scorer's table real quick to take off his Clark Kent suit, was one to remember.

(I came on this thread to post R.R. Jedick, but somebody beat me to it. When my kids and I play hoops on the driveway, at some point the mysterious player "R.R. Jedick" always enters the game. Usually when one team is down a few buckets. We'll pretend like we're the P.A. guy and we'll say something like "Now entering the game is R.R. Jedick!!!" We've been doing this for years.)

But also, I wanted to point out that Hick Norvath was the best practice player ever.

There you go again, throwing names around! If you're going to mention Bony, how can you leave out Koe Jennedy?

I like Denny Kennard's teammate Binker Tell. Together there were a Dynamic Duo!

I think we are being too narrow in just working with the first letters. Here are some spoonerisms of the retired jerseys:

Hey! Artman! (from my earlier post, but pretty good for boisterous Artie)
Barley Hobby
Grill Haunt
Grass-Stained Listener (sorry)
Jill Waymans
Ray-Ray Jacket

The others come harder:
G-mike on Skis?
Millie Jeffums?
Brain Shuteye?
Shelled Millions?

I forgot one:

Trick Goat?

sagegrouse
'When's the next game?'

'I'm kinda fond of Barley Hobby'

I forgot the 1980's:

Donny's Jokin' (or Jackin', if you prefer a basketball term)

And it's hard to beat the OP's Derry Fanny.
