Somebody just sent me a link to this. Apparently Gary Parrish of CBS Sports picks out an AP voter to rip on each week. This week's target gets it for dropping Duke two spots in his rankings this week. The voter (from Milwaukee) is the only one on the country that doesn't have Duke in the top three -- he has Duke fifth this week:

If this was football, where the polls really matter, I'd get upset about this. But as it it, it merely provides an illustration of how silly the polls are.

Data released today indicates Wisconsin (still) leads the nation in binge drinking. This could provide a possible explanation.
I guess a poll attack is better than a Pole attack.
