I like the list a lot. The "other" blue team is 3rd, so that will be a great early season test for both teams when we play. Cody Zeller's Hoosiers are ranked 1st.
Trivia question that I don't know the answer to; How many brothers have been on different teams ranked #1 in the preseason? The Zellers are obviously on that list.
Beeker's brother's ND team was never ranked 1st, preseason or otherwise. Jeff and Jason Capel never were preseason 1's (although during Jeff's first year unc was #1 and during Jason's career Duke was #1 twice).

Ajou and Luol Deng? There were definitely preseason rankings in 1998-99 that had Uconn #1 (pretty sure we were both AP and USA Today #1 tho). Not sure about us and 2003-04.

Just to be clear, Duke was preseason No. 1 in 1998-99 and held the No. 1 ranking for three weeks until the loss to Cincinnati in Alaska. UConn, which started No. 2, took over the top spot on Nov. 29 and held it for 10 straight weeks before they lost for the first time and Duke regained the top spot on Feb. 8. Duke held it the rest of the way.

as for the question about brothers -- that's good, but how about father and son? I've got Bill Walton (UCLA 1972-73-74) and Luke Walton (Arizona 2001).
