He's in the "nobody" neighborhood right now -- a guy who was fired from from a head coaching position; took a job as a defensive coordinator; got fired from that.

Yet at age 68 he can hang 'em up and reflect that he did better than most: 32 years in colleges and 13 years in the NFL. He was head coach for 16 years: Wake (1981-86), NY Jets (2000) and Virginia (2001-2009).

Advice in a rearview mirror: retire after UVa.

Two-time COY of ACC when he was still the HC at UVa. Tech needs a scapegoat.

Not surprised, but don't think this is the end of the bloodletting in northwest Atlanta.
