Duke has named a new Dean of the Chapel, the Rev Luke Powery (http://today.duke.edu/2012/07/powery).

UGrad at Stanford, Masters at Princeton Theological, and Doctorate at Toronto.

He had the opportunity to lead a service at Duke (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvjn2tvkM-M) in June. You can find him about 40 minutes in.

He has a very impressive resume and I'm thrilled with the choice. It actually looked like Will Willimon might have been preparing himself for a return to the position (after serving as Bishop in another conference for the past 8 years). I look forward to meeting Rev. Powery.
