The last member of the 1998 NFL draft class with his original team is Duke's Patrick Mannelly. I missed this at the time, but it became the case in March when PM went to Denver and Hines Ward retired.

Since I was class of 1998, this makes me feel dessicated, ancient, sad. But mad props to Mannelly. And continued, renewed health to the legend, Peyton Manning.

I did not know that.

In the interest of clarity, it might be noted that Peyton Manning and Patrick Mannelly have the same initials. I had to do a double-take to distinguish the two.

And I've felt dessicated and ancient a lot longer then that.
