Heard this on the radio on the ride home today. Interesting, actually. Not sure how to read that. Dad gets the boot a year earlier, and the recruitment of his son gets raised as an issue as well, yet at the end of the day, the kid decides to walkon there anyway? Very odd.

Seems to me there was something in the football scandal that a tutor for some of the football players also did some tutoring for the Davis family? Maybe she and the Davis boy developed a friendship of sorts?

Yeah, I forgot about that actually. I was speaking about the fact that Butch had offered his son a scholarship, that apparently Holden did not know about? or something to that effect. Holden brought it up in a press conference after the firing, which did not sit well with Butch.
