Cycling is a club thing at Duke. But these guys did very well out in Utah.

National title? Why, yes. (http://www.newsobserver.com/2012/05/24/2086627/duke-cyclists-claim-national-title.html)

But I assume there are other events as well.

This is an awesome story. According to the News Observer report, this is a no-tryout, no-cut club team at Duke that has found a very good part-time coach (former professional cyclist who worked at Duke for a while) and some sponsorships (in addition to some funds from the Duke club sports program) to pay travel expenses to nationals, and they won in the division for schools of 15,000 and fewer students, racing against many teams with recruited athletes. In the other two events of the weekend, a road race and a criterium, it sounds like the Duke team had more crashes and injuries than success--but as the team members noted, a national championship is very sweet. Pretty impressive.
