The above is a link to ESPN where it says that the terps have landed Jennings, a center from Cali by way of Mt. Zion in Durham. The kid is 6-10, with solid athleticism who only needs some polish. This is a solid pick-up for UMD, who could be pretty good next year, and really good the year after, given the solid core of wings and guards in place, and UMD's propensity to find capable bigs and get them on the floor. Solid pickup for Williams.

I think that Driesell has proven that he is a good recruiter. Because in the recent past a number of players left school without a degree in hand there is a definite downside to recruiting a playing who has so much upside.
