Another reason to love our new stud recruit Rasheed Suliamon. The kids at the Jordan Brand game were asked to sing Be Like Mike, and Rasheed said "No Thanks, I would rather be like K". Gotta love that!

Well done Rasheed! (http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballnation/post/_/id/57932/video-jordan-brand-stars-sing-like-mike)

His intensity is something we could have definitely used last year and his attitude has endeared itself to me. I love this kid!

Kid has game, brains and swag. Potential new favorite. Don't want to get ahead of myself, but next year might pleasantly surprise us.

Given some of the posts I have read recently, breaking .500 would be a monumental feat. But put me down for "fun year"

I was confused at first, but I guess the .500 refers to our projected 3 point shooting percentage. :)

I cannot imagine that this team won't hit at least .700. And with the increasing possibility that Rasheed is going to bring some verve to the team, I bet they can do even better.

I missed the first half. I hear Rasheed has 7, but how is he doing? Why are they not playing him? He was the leading scorer for the west in the first half.

They switch 5 for 5 every 5 minutes. Sulaimon's group played the first and third 5 minutes of the first half and the second and last 5 minutes of the second half.

Sulaimon hit a couple of nice jump shots, but he just hasn't looked quite right out there overall. He doesn't have the same speed and explosiveness that he had in the McDonald's game. I'm wondering if he's not comfortable with the shoes (they're all wearing Jordan Brand shoes obviously) or the floor, but his gait doesn't look right.

Way to go, Rasheed!

BTW, that "singing" was rough on the ears.

Dogs everywhere must have been howling.

This kid has just become my favorite blue devil next year. I cant stand MJ either. I think he was one of the most overrated players ever and he is not a good person.

Do it Sheed!

looks like he is following in AR's footsteps as AR didn't sing last year either. If this is a new tradition for the jordan brand classic... I like it.

He is overrated as a college player. But I agree that he isn't overrated as a pro. The dude was phenomenal on the court. Off the court, he was/is a jerk.

He is overrated as a college player.

Yes and yes. If MJ has a career-ending injury before his NBA career starts, where would he be ranked on the all-time greatest college players list? I'd have a hard time making an intelligent, well-reasoned argument that he should be above J-Dubs.
