Thanks for the info. Had no idea Duke was breaking from its Preseason NIT, Coaches vs Cancer, Kansas City, Maui rotation.

Thanks for this big heads-up. That lineup makes for a powerful preseason tourney. Really tough.

And we'll also play Kentucky and probably either OSU or MSU all within the first 3 weeks or so of the season.

Indiana maybe? I've no idea who's due a home game, who away. Even though Indiana-NCSt might be the matchup, tough to pass up Hoosiers-Devils or Hoosiers-Heels.

Anyhow, Duke likely has an early season at least as challenging as this season's. Probably tougher.

For the top Big 10(12) teams last year in the Challenge:
Indiana @ NC State
Michigan @ Clemson
Wisconsin @ UNC
Mich St home vs FSU
OSU home vs Duke

Since we are due a home game likely MSU or rematch with OSU based on last year's home and aways

Maybe, you never know with the challenge. Indiana and NCSU are probably going to be picked in the top 2 preseason in their respective conferences if not #1 and they played last year. Indiana would get the home court this time. OSU or MSU would both be projected in the Big 10 about where Duke would be in the ACC and Duke has played both in the last two years so it would make sense for there to be a return game (either Duke going to MSU or OSU in Cameron)

I agree with you but as this year showed it really does not matter how one does in these early tournaments.

Right, we play Kentucky in the "Champions Classic" in Atlanta - http://bluedevilnation.net/2010/12/new-three-year-event-pits-four-of-college-basketball%E2%80%99s-winningest-programs/

Probably a Kentucky team that will have 4 freshman who will be lottery picks in the 2013 NBA draft LOL
