1999 McDonald's Game

I was channel surfing and saw a few minutes of the 1999 McDonald's game.

Jonathan Bender was MVP. He went straight to the NBA and had an okay career I guess.
Boozer and Dunleavy and still in the Association and making good money.

I don't know if anyone else is still playing in the NBA. Of course, I don't follow the NBA that closely.
I think that Jason Kapono was traded away by the Lakers and waived.

Richardson has made quite a bit of money for himself and is still playing well. Bogans has been an NBA regular for years, started every game last year, and has played briefly this year. Collison is a quality rotation big man for the Thunder. Williams would have been a star had he not destroyed his leg. Wilkins is still a regular rotation player. Cook has bounced around the fringe of the league and has played briefly this year. Harvey bounced around for a few years in the League.

It wasn't the world-beater class of all time, but plenty of guys made reasonable careers for themselves from that McDonald's game.

Lest we forget, the 2012 McDonald's game is coming up soon, this Weds. March 28 in Chicago.

Keith Bogans' high school teammate, Joseph Forte, certainly made a mess of things. There are a lot of what ifs from this class for sure... Majestic Mapp(knee issues), Joe Forte(maturity issues), Jwill(motorcycle accident) and Bender(knee issues) are at the top of the list.
