The ladies tip off around 7:40 tonight. It will be interesting to see how well EWill can play. We definitely will need her.

We need her AND the three that can't play!!

Tough hand to have to play. If they can get to the regional final, it would be a significant accomplishment.

Go Duke.

Is she injured?

She has a stress fracture in her right lower leg:

The women came out looking like the mean to make this a blowout, excellent start. 16-3 :D

Excellent half, Liston is so solid. Williams is looking like she isn't injured.

Great win! EWill was able to sit for most of the 2nd half. Next up - Vandy on Tues. Unfortunately, its on their home court! But, they usually only have a crowd when they play Tenn.

I hate that Duke gets shafted by playing as the higher seed on a lower seed's home court, we've had that happen before and got sent home. However, if we have the goal of winning the tournament, then we have to be able to play anyone anywhere and persevere. It should be a great game with an exciting crowd. We've faced the same type of environment before this year, some times victoriously (unc) and sometimes on the losing end (Maryland). That's the benefit of playing the schedule that the women do; they will be prepared.
