Per Mike DeCourcy, freshman forward Branden Dawson of Michigan State tore his ACL in the home loss to Ohio State this afternoon. He is, of course, out for the rest of the year (and probably most of the summer and the beginning of next year, too).

MSU has been snakebite for a while now come tourney time. That will really hurt their chances in March.

My brother is a Sparty. I like Tom Izzo. This is terrible. What a shame after the hard work Izzo and the team have put in this year.
