Not sure such a place exists but I will be in Dublin this weekend and would love to find a pub with the game on. Any suggestions?

Thanks

watchespn.com has a special player for overseas. It's 17Euro per month which means you could sign up and get DUKE UNC and the ACC tournament then cancel.

You'd have to watch at home though....

Another Dukie has told me she is looking for the game in Paris. Can anyone help?

I believe the game will be on ESPN America. I have a friend who lives in Dublin so I'll ask him for places to watch it. He mentioned watching Duke play in 2010, I can't remember if it was the Duke-UNC game or the national title game that was on.

nathancjack, try checking with the boston college branch/club on St Stephen's Green. They might be able to steer you in the right direction.

I have no idea of a particular bar that might be of assistance, but if you search - either online or in person - for a bar that has ESPN America(formerly North American Sports Network) you could watch it there. Though I don't think it will be showing it live, but rather on Sunday afternoon which might cause some issues both in terms of knowing the result already and of places wanting to show EPL matches or 6 nations rugby.

Busker's in Temple Bar. You can then dance your victory dance to live bands.

Be warned - There be Brits there a plenty.

Watching with a bunch of Brits has got to beat a horde of heels (although basketball knowledge is probably similar).

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

A devoted Duke fan is in London this weekend and would appreciate any suggestions as to how she might be able to watch the game.

Thanks,

For London it should be relatively easy. It was 8 years ago for me, but the London Sports Cafe (http://www.thesportscafe.com/london/) was good for watching games, the only time I had any issues was if it coincided with another major sports event(like an English national rugby or football match). And they stay open well into the late hours, so a game starting at midnight shouldn't be a problem. Its right off Piccadilly Circus so pretty easy to get to.

Unbelievably (to me anyway), this is where I will have to watch the game as somehow this is not on my regular TV package. Next year, I will be getting an extra tv sports package. Grrr.

The Sports Cafe (also near Piccadilly Circus) shows basically all the high profile American sports. I watched the entire MLB playoffs there. They're showing Duke-UNC tonight for sure:

It's a very American bar/club, but gets the job done if you want to catch a game, especially since they're typically open to something like 4 AM on the weekend and 2 AM during the week.
