If so there was a whale of a prima donna situation in Arizona this morning. The last remaining somewhat highly rated recruit Davonte Neal (Top 100, but no 5 star super stud) was set to commit. The kid and his father pushed his decision well past signing day. Lots of insiders said the kid and father were trouble while others said they were making an informed decision on their "own" timetable. What added fuel to the fire was OSU seemed to drop him for no reason on signing day. A little twist to this was Meyer mentioned his last name on TV on signing day special, which is a no-no per NCAA rules since the kid was uncommitted. That only added to the "drama" speculation. Did Ohio State drop the kid b/c he was trouble or did they have no choice? Anyways, so the kid and father called local and national news to a press conference to be held at his former elementary school this morning. All kids were taken out of class for the announcement. Announcement time comes, and kid no shows the press conference. Word is he was set to go to ND with his father's blessing then he got cold feet right before he was to make an announcement opting to stay in state at Zona. Kid is only 17 so father apparently won't sign off on LOI to Arizona. Therefore, they just no-showed the news and school without warning or apology. Newscasters were ripping the kid and father on TV, while the school had to send kids back to class.

H.S. football recruiting due to its lack of early signing period has become an all out circus.

The saga finally comes to an end. The kid calls the school and says he is returning........................announces for Notre Dame.
