While I enjoyed the piece on Grantland today about our win over Maryland, I didn't enjoy the embedded hit job on Andre. After watching the clip the writer composed to present evidence that Andre was burned repeatedly, my initial reaction was that none of the first three plays he showed were Andre's fault. (For those who haven't seen it, the clips were of Andre getting knocked down on a pick, Andre narrowly missing out on a steal, and Andre trying unsuccessfully to provide help defense on a drive.)
After watching these selected clips and reading the writer's criticism of Andre, the main conclusion I draw is that the writer knows nothing about coaching or playing basketball.
