Well, at least Kyrie is close with somebody high up in USA Basketball. ;) So, perhaps they'll agree to release him despite the fact he played for the USA in U18 competition. Not sure how strict Fiba is, though. But I'd like to see Kyrie compete in the Olympics! I'm sure it would be a great experience.

IMHO Kyrie should continue working hard and hopefully one day play for the U.S.A. and bring home a Gold Medal. If I am understanding the rules correctly if he plays for the Aussies now he could not play for the U.S.A. in say the 2016 or 2020 olympics.

Kyrie should ABSOLUTELY go down under and ball with the Aussies in the Olympics! How better to tidy up his amatuer status than to hang an Olympic Gold medal on the NCAA championship trophy he won and be done.

I agree with this. If he can never play for the USA which one day he obviously will then why ruin it. I think it would be incredible to play anything in the Olympics hell Im thinking about trying my hand at curling, but I think he should wait til 2016 and then decide.
