Who was the Man-of-the-Match in Duke's 81-74 win over Georgia Tech?

Ryan Kelly earned my vote with his clutch free throw shooting. Seth Curry was another consideration due to his strong 2nd half performance.

It's hard to think of anyone who played really well for the entire game today, though several players had effective stretches. But Ryan's free throw shooting got us the win, so I voted for him.

I agree completely. Seth was going to get my vote, until he missed his free throws and Ryan made 8? straight to ice the game.

Ryan actually made 14 straight for the game. Congrats to Ryan and Seth for stepping up today. Great to see. I have not voted yet, but it will be for one of these guys when I do.

Kelly played a very solid game. Seth played a good 2nd half. Ryan gets my vote today.

I wanted to vote Mason and Ryan as co-MOTM performers for their combined FT performance, but had to "settle" for Ryan alone because of poll structure.

They both deserved the recognition for hitting ALL of their FT's today. That was HUGE!!

BTW, if we're gonna express "concern" for Mason's past struggles at the stripe, he also needs to hear from us about "getting it done".

Ryan - Mr. Cool Hand Luke, when the pressure was there....you delivered in Spades - I don't know where you went, as of late, but I sure am mighty glad to see you back! You da man. That FT stroke of yours today was mighty sweet. We needed you and you were up to the challenge.

Nothing but positive Karma to the FT shooting psyche of the team....this makes a difference in who wins close games. Truth!

My computer had a "wardrobe malfunction" in its jump on stage during my last post. The above Post Title is what should have appeared on my last post.

Though with +/- Austin had the best numbers, gotta go with Ryan for the clutch FT shooting.

Duke GA T +/- Metrics Total Duke

65 (54) 11 41 52 Austin Rivers, G
50 (50) 00 50 50 Ryan Kelly, F

57 (57) 00 49 49 Mason Plumlee, F
51 (45) 06 39 45 Quinn Cook, G
59 (62) (3) 44 41 Seth Curry, G

41 (29) 12 23 35 Miles Plumlee, F

44 (42) 02 26 28 Andre Dawkins, G
27 (21) 06 16 22 Tyler Thornton, G

11 (10) 01 9 10 Josh Hairston, F

Austin, Tyler and Ryan still lead the +/- since I started tracking it in the Davidson game. With his team leading +12 in GA Tech game, Miles moved into 4th place.

Quinn contiunues to climb up the list too.

Sum 12 Duke +/- since Davidson game

131 Austin Rivers, G

106 Tyler Thornton, G

92 Ryan Kelly, F

72 Miles Plumlee, F
71 Seth Curry, G

68 Mason Plumlee, F
