Jacobs' article covers the 15 seasons since Coach K returned from his medical leave. In those years only two losses were by more than the 22 point loss to OSU.
Three things:
First, I think Jacobs is missing a 24 point loss to UNC in February of 1998.
Second, that still means only three losses of 20 points or more in 15 seasons, plus the OSU loss in this sixteenth season.( I checked the yearbooks and Jacobs' chart.)
Third, in those 15 seasons our boys have defeated the Heels by 20 or more points five times.
All in all, pretty remarkable.
