Its the new duke tradition. The zoubeard is not grown....it is simply passed from one class to the next.

it looks Nowitzkiesque ... as does his play.

Miles had one going a couple summers ago but he's opted for the highly-shorn look.

I hope he is shooting to join the James Harden/Baron Davis beard club. A real mountain man look would add to the team's panache.

Ryan's beard doesn't seem to be quite thick enough to grow a beard that honcho! But I would love to see him try. I lived in Boone for a while and one of the things I learned is that a great beard demands respect. Maybe RK is sending a message!
