Yeah, but that's only because in America we do Month/Date/Year.

In any other country it would be totally different, they would go Day/Month/Year.

Today is my 11 year wedding anniversary. I grew up loving number 11 because of Mike Gartner and then later Bobby Hurley.

You still only get 11/11/11 once per century.

So very true. Luckily, we get every other date multiple times a century.

Not exactly. How about 12/12/12 or 01/01/01, etc.

Sorry, I was thinking about cool dates like 11/10/11 or 6/13/09 that reoccur frequently.

Sorry, my posts probably count as trolling. My initial post was a joke....whether you are European or American, the date would still be 11/11/11. On other dates such as September 10 this year (9/10/11), the significance of the day is lost on people from other countries.

My second comment was more or less trying to point out (sarcastically) that every date is unique to the century. There's not a single repeated date...

My third post was trying to drive that point home.

I guess it isn't funny if I have to explain it.

It's one or the other.

There are 10 types of people in this world

those that understand binary
those that don't
those that realize that 10 base b = b base 10 for all b

LOL.

The way I see it, there are two types of people.

Those who split people into two groups, and those who do not.

Chinese numerology and Feng Shui for 2011 This year we are going to experience four unusual dates: 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11, and that's not all; Take the last two digits of the year you were born and the age you will be this year and the result will add up to 111 for everyone!!!! .
Also, this year, October will have 5 Sundays, 5 Mondays & 5 Saturdays. This happens only once every
823 years.

yeah, and if you mail this to 4 million of your friends ( not Bill Gates ) you'll get lots of money within 823 yrs LOL

For those who may be confused/unaware, this occurs once every 7 years (amortized to account for leap years)
