Bob Knight should know better. I'd be more forgiving if he were visiting his son and bumped into the recruits, but a phone call is intentional and I suspect Bob Knight knew it was wrong.

Of course having Michael Jordan recruit Shavlik Randolp (http://www.cbssports.com/u/ce/multi/0,1329,4360291_55,00.html)h was wrong too, but UNC actually celebrated that one. So I guess if the NCAA is going to suck at what it does, we might as well shrug our shoulders when something pretty minor like this happens.

Why do I feel like MJ had something to do with Harrison Barnes recruiting as well? Does this sound right or am I way off?

MJ, whether it be directly or indirectly, has something to do with EVERY SINGLE UNC RECRUIT.

The shame of it will show up when the NCAA steps in and punishes these kids by making them sit out their first 5 college games or something which will be horse crap. So what if the coach's dad talked to 2 of his son's recruits. Big Flip. I agree with Pat in that if it is a violation it is a dumb rule.
