There's a ton of talent (incl Nolan Smith, Kevin Durant, Tyreke Evans, etc) playing in this game this coming Saturday (10/15) in DC. I'm thinking about going and thought I'd pass along the info for anyone in the area.

I wonder if because of the possibility of injury playing in exhibition games like this (or the LeBron series) violates the standard NBA contract--or violates it in any other way. Or is likely to violate specific provisions inserted in some players contracts. (Yes, I know such prohitions usually include such riskier things as skydiving or motorcyle riding.)

I don't think there's "one answer" to my question but perhaps someone can shed some light on this general topic as I am curious. Part of the answer may involve whether players under contract are truly "under contract" during this unusual labor situation.

Thanks.
