Arizona has fired Coach Mike Stoops (http://azstarnet.com/sports/blogs/finley/vmix_ea9103c0-f3ad-11e0-b9ca-001cc4c002e0.html). His defensive coordinator, Tim Kish, will take over on an interim basis while they begin a national search for a new head coach.

Losing to Oregon State was the nail in the coffin. But the buyout won't hurt: $1.4 million.
His record was 1-5 this year and 41-50 over all.
The (relatively) new AD, Greg Byrne, will be able to put his mark on the program.
