Since there isn't a forum for the football recruiting class of 2012, I thought I would ask my question here. Does anyone know how many available scholarships are still available, (assuming everyone who's committed comes)?

Somewhere between 3-5, depending on how attrition plays out. This will be a small class, as we don't have that many seniors.

Another way of putting that: we return a lot of talented, experienced players next year that Cut has picked to fit his system!

That's about what I was guessing. I've recently seen where Duke is still in the hunt for some intriguing prospects, but I wasn't sure how many of them we could actually sign.

Jela Duncan is #1 remaining priority. Duke would be thrilled to get a commitment from him and move on to 2013. That being said, there are a few higher level players who they hope to host on officials later this fall and see where things go. Contact period for 2013 class opens up Thursday and Duke has been evaluating that class for several months already.
